Mr Patel was very caring. His approach with my son allowed him to carry out manual ear wax removal that I would never have believed my son would tolerate due to his sensory issues! His diligence actually diagnosed that the grommet was still in my sons ear - probably causing the wax build up. He was very thorough, explaining everything clearly and talking through things afterwards. He was apologetic too about the wait. A really impressive doctor / thank you so much. And I say that as someone who has worked in the NHS for over 25 years with a lot of doctors!

I was very happy when seeing Dr Bhav Patel, he truly listens to the parent of concerns you have and takes them on board. He was very patient with a thorough examination on my child’s nose. He went into full detail which helped us understand what was going on. He listened to my concerned and took them onboard to then reassure me that I was correct to then explaining what actions will be put into place to help resolve the issues. I can’t thank you enough for how much it means to me to have a doctor who is very caring and understand as I find many doctors don’t listen to the parents when it comes to issues regularised your child health.

Dr Patel was an excellent doctor who I’ve visited twice at Royal ENT hospital. On both occasions he was very thorough, listened to all of my concerns, and ensured any questions were answered - all with care, consideration and in terminology that I could easily apprehend. Despite having issues for several years with my hearing I finally felt like I was able to understand the underlying issues and help resolve future problems. I was at ease during both consultations and left feeling like I had some resolution, after countless GP appointments which didn’t provide much insight.

Mr. Patel explained the procedure very clearly and made me feel confident. My ears were very blocked on the day and he kindly checked and cleared cleared wax whilst I was under anaesthetic. What a bonus, made a big difference in how I felt. Thank you.
